Your rights aren't small print.
They're the starting point for everything we do. Here's what you can always expect from Asina — and what to do if we fall short.
Choice and control
Your supports belong to you. You choose your workers, your schedule and how support is delivered — and you can change any of it. You never need to justify wanting a different worker, and changing your mind will never affect the quality of your support.
Respect and safety
You have the right to support that is safe, respectful and free from abuse, neglect, discrimination or exploitation. Every Asina worker holds an NDIS Worker Screening Check and a police check, is fully insured, and works under the NDIS Code of Conduct — which applies to every provider in the scheme, registered or not.
Privacy and your information
Your information is yours. We collect only what we need to support you safely, store it securely, and never share it without your consent except where the law requires. Your My Asina portal shows you what we record about your supports — shift notes included. Read our privacy policy for the detail.
Speaking up
If something isn't right — say so. Feedback and complaints make our support better, and raising a concern will never be held against you or affect your services.
- Tell us: call (02) 8320 1292, email contact@asinadisability.com.au, or use our feedback & complaints page.
- Go above us: the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission takes complaints about any provider, registered or not — 1800 035 544, or ndiscommission.gov.au.
- Get an advocate: an independent disability advocate can support you for free — find one via the Disability Advocacy Finder.
