People For Change.
People For Change is how we speak up for the people we support. The NDIS is being reformed, and a lot of participants, families and practitioners are frightened of what the changes mean for them. This project exists to make that fear visible, to put money behind independent advocacy, and to keep people with disability in the room where decisions are made.

Don't reform people with disability out of the NDIS. We are asking the Government and the National Disability Insurance Agency to do four things.
- Nothing lost until it's replaced. No participant loses a support they rely on until an equivalent support is actually available to them. Available, not announced.
- Pause the cuts for lifelong disability. No budget cuts or reassessments until foundational supports are funded, built and open in their region, including regional and rural NSW.
- A conversation, not a letter. Every reassessment gets a real person, a plain-language explanation, and time to appeal before anything changes.
- Nothing about us without us. Co-design the reforms with people with disability and their families, and fund independent, disability-led advocacy.

About the song
Written, produced and performed by Ben Feenan, Asina's founder, after ten years working in disability support. It comes from what he has watched over that decade, from the uncertainty participants now feel about what their lives will look like under the reforms, and from a hard expectation: that it will not be long before the damaging stories start coming out.
The title carries two messages. To participants and families: you are not alone, and you are still here. To the government: so are we. We will not forget, and we will not simply move on.
Streams pay very little, so the song is the way in, not the fundraiser. Buying it, or donating directly, is what makes the money add up. Sharing it is what makes people listen.
What we're up to
Release news, where the money has gone, what MPs have said back, and where we've been. Every update has its own link, so share the ones that matter.

What we stand for
We are a support provider working across New South Wales, from the New England to Newcastle, the Hunter and the Blue Mountains. We are not a lobby group and we do not pretend to be. What we can do is tell the truth about what we see every week, and direct whatever attention and money this project earns to the organisations that exist to fight for people with disability.
Everything under People For Change follows the same rules, and they are published here so you can hold us to them.
- 01Independent, not political
We campaign on issues, never for a party or a candidate. Money raised goes to disability-led advocacy organisations, not to Asina and not to anyone's election.
- 02Asina keeps nothing
Donations made on this page are received by Asina Group Pty Ltd, held apart from the business, and passed on in full to the partner organisation. Card fees and the cost of running a campaign are Asina's.
- 03Every dollar accounted for
The running total on this page comes straight from the donation records, and every transfer to the partner organisation is announced in our updates below.
- 04Led by the people affected
Participants and families shape what we say. If you want to be part of that, the door is open.

Five things, in order of how much they matter. Only one of them costs anything.

Add your name above, then sign the official petition to the House of Representatives when it opens. Parliament has to answer that one.

A short, personal email about what your funding pays for and what losing it would mean. Find your federal member at aph.gov.au.
- 05Tell your story
Say publicly what the NDIS has made possible for you, on the stories wall. Real stories are what change minds.
People For Change is an awareness project of Asina Services (Asina Group Pty Ltd), an NDIS support provider working across New South Wales. It is not affiliated with the NDIA or any political party, and nothing here is advice about an individual NDIS plan. If you are worried about your plan, talk to your support coordinator or plan manager, or contact us.
Donations are not tax-deductible: Asina is a support provider, not a registered charity. Asina fundraises under the NSW small-appeal exemption, which allows up to $15,000 a year without a fundraising authority. If the campaign looks like passing that, we will apply for an authority before it does, and say so here.
