Plain-English guide
Starting support with Asina
From first call to first shift — here's exactly what happens, so there are no surprises.
The steps
1. Say hello
Call (02) 8320 1292, email us, or use the two-minute online form. We'll chat about the support you're after and answer anything on your mind.
2. Intake & agreement
We send your intake form and a service agreement that sets out your supports and exact rates in writing. Nothing starts until you're happy and it's signed.
3. Choose your workers
We match you with local workers who fit your needs and personality — and you choose who joins your team. It's always your call, and you can change workers at any time.
4. Support starts
Your My Asina portal keeps your schedule, shift notes, invoices and plan in one place, visible to you (and your family or nominee, if you choose).
What to have handy
- Your NDIS plan (or just your NDIS number to start the conversation)
- How your plan is managed — self-managed or plan-managed (not sure? read this first)
- Your plan manager's details, if you have one
- Anything you want your workers to know — routines, preferences, goals
Where Asina fits: Asina is an unregistered NDIS provider. We support participants whose plans are self-managed or plan-managed — we can't currently work with NDIA (agency) managed plans. We follow the NDIS Code of Conduct, every worker holds an NDIS Worker Screening Check, and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission oversees our work just as it does registered providers.
