Disability Support Practitioners, Greater Melbourne
About the role
Thanks for your interest in working with Asina. We’re a person-centred NDIS provider from New South Wales, and we’ve just opened in Melbourne. Our Victorian team is led by Hayley Harris, and we’re now building the group of Disability Support Practitioners who will be the face of Asina across the city.
Because the team is new, this isn’t a fixed roster line yet. Participants are joining us from the CBD out, across the inner north and west, the bayside and south-east, the eastern suburbs and the outer growth areas, and we match practitioners to the people near them. Tell us where you are and when you can work, and we’ll build your hours around the participants in your part of Melbourne, starting with a few shifts and growing from there.
The work itself is what good disability support always is: helping people live the lives they choose. Some days that’s getting out into the community, some days it’s the morning routine at home, meal prep, a lift to an appointment, or working on a goal in someone’s plan. Every participant chooses who supports them, so a good fit matters more to us than a long CV.
Being part of a founding team means something here. The people who join us now will be the ones we look to first as new participants and shifts come up, and as the Melbourne team grows there will be team leader, key worker and senior practitioner roles to grow into.
If this sounds like you, apply below or send us a message and we’ll organise a quick chat.
Thanks again, and we hope to hear from you.
